RootScoot

A solid pre-welded flat pack polypropylene box structure with open bottom that can be slipped into the tree hole to limit lateral growth of aggressive tree roots to prevent root damage to building foundations; paved surfaces etc.
Fabricated from a 4mm thick, semi flexible, polypropylene based board, double layered with 5mm integrated perpendicular support spacers placed at 4mm intervals. Boards are specially puncture resistant, rot and root
proof. They are engineered to resist puncture at a minimum 1500 newton (BS EN ISO 12236:2006). Boards are not affected by mineral oils, solvents, acids, bases, and salts that are usually found in contaminated water tables and
in soil components. Boards do not absorb water, which prevents rust, rot corrosion, or support bacterial growth. Protection of services such as Fibre optic cables, Plumbing & drains, electrical cables, irrigation pipes, Paved roads, and pedestrian walkways.

Installation Instructions

• Dig treehole. Size of the treehole has to be slightly bigger than the RootScoot dimensions
• Slide Rootscoot cube into the hole comfortably
• Place tree into Rootscoot cube into the soil
• Fill treehole completely with soil and/or drainage layers as desired
• Rootscoot should not be visible above ground level after planting and not be exposed to direct sunlight after installation
